Do I need a tee time?
While walk-on players are always welcome, tee times are strongly recommended in order to minimize any inconvenience that waiting to tee off may cause. -
How far in advance can I book a tee time?
All visitors to Hawaii may book up to 90 days in advance. Kama'aina (locals with State of Hawaii ID) may book up to 30 days in advance. Large groups and tournaments may book out further, please contact our Golf Shop for more details, Call Ko Olina Golf Club at 808.676.5300.

Do you have any Japanese speaking staff?
Yes, we have Japanese speaking staff available throughout the day in our Golf Shop. If calling internationally, press "2" to speak to a Japanese speaking representative. -
What are the Golf Shop hours?
Golf Shop Hours of Operation: 6:30AM - 6:00PM (November 1 - March 18), and 6:00AM - 7:00PM (March 19 - October 31), 7 Days a Week. Hours are subject to change based on weather or COVID-19 conditions.

Are range balls included in the price?
Yes, a warm up basket of driving range balls are included in your green fees. -
Do you have rental clubs and shoes?
Yes, our Golf Shop maintains one of the newest and best fleets of club rentals in the state. The TaylorMade equipment is top-notch, providing golfers with the latest technology for a great game. Our rental fleet consists of 2023 TaylorMade Stealth2 Driver, Woods & Irons with GTX Spider Putter* and Kalea Premier Product for ladies. Mens regular flex sets will have steel shaft irons. Stiff flex will have steel shaft irons. Womens flex sets will have graphite shaft irons. Rental shoes are available $15 per pair. Visit our Rental Club page for more information. -
What is the expected pace of play?
Under normal circumstances, the expected pace of play on Ko Olina Golf Club is four hours and twenty minutes for 18 holes. Examples of abnormal conditions include days when inclement weather may cause delays, wet conditions may cause golf car restrictions, or a special event is playing the golf course. -
Is there a practice range?
Ko Olina Golf Club has a full grass driving range, as well as a state-of-the-art artificial hitting pad. A small basket of range balls (approximately 35 balls) is $6 and a large basket (approximately 75 balls) is $12. We have driving range rental club sets available for $15. We also have a full practice putting green, and short-game area with 1 sand bunker. Do you have a dress code policy?
Smart casual golf attire and soft spike footwear is required for all players. Riders must dress in proper golf attire as well (spikes not required). T-shirts, swimwear, tank tops or cut-offs are NOT appropriate attire. -
What is the weather like?
Ko Olina is located on the leeward side of Oahu which is the sunniest part of the island. So many times, it can be raining in Waikiki, but still sunny at Ko Olina! See our Live Webcam for the current weather at Ko Olina! -
How far is the Golf Club from Waikiki
Ko Olina is located about 25 minutes west of the Honolulu International Airport and 45 minutes from Waikiki. -
Can kids play?
Yes, junior golfers are welcome on our course. In fact, kids golf FREE after 3PM everyday! Golfer's ages seventeen and younger are considered juniors. Please limit one junior per paying adult. For golf earlier than 3pm, applicable junior rates apply. See Visit our page for Tee Times and Rates. -
Can we play alone as a twosome?
Ko Olina Golf Club reserves the right to pair you with other players when course conditions and capacity require it. However, if you are a twosome we do offer the Exclusive Twosome Package where you can play alone. Please contact our Golf Shop for details and to book.

Can non-golfers ride along?
Absolutely! Our non-golfing rider fee is $30 for 18-holes and for $15 for 9-holes. We require this fee since riders are taking the place of a golfer, and typically would require us to provide an extra golf cart for your group. -
How late can I tee off and still finish?*
In Hawaii, the sun sets as early as 5:50PM in December, and as late as 7:15PM in June/July. With an average pace of play of 4 hours & 20 minutes, you can tee off as late as 3:00 PM in the summer, and 1:50 PM in the winter and finish 18-holes. Special Twilight rates officially start at 1PM year round. Please note: for a twilight tee time, we cannot guarantee you will finish 18-holes before sunset. -
Do you offer golf lessons?
Yes! Ko Olina features the #1 Golf Academy on Oahu, with the best staff of PGA/LPGA golf professionals to serve you. Awarded the PGA Play Golf America award for contributions for teaching and growing the game. Do you accept group play, tournaments, golf outings and shotgun starts?
Yes we do, and we have competitive rates as well. Please contact our Head Golf Professional, Andrew Farrea, at andrew.farrea@koolina.com or by calling 808.676.5300 to arrange your outing. *COVID-19 may affect Group Play-call the Golf Shop to inquire further. Social distancing of at least 6 feet must be maintained during the round. -
Do you allow carts to drive on the fairways?
Yes we do. On occasion we do have to restrict carts to cart path only due to rain, or other weather related conditions. -
Can I play alone or will I be paired with other players?
Ko Olina Golf Club reserves the right to pair you with other players when course conditions and capacity require it. -
Can I ship my clubs directly to the Course?
